#Goodbyeto2011 is a short video project produced by the Race Equality Foundation in collaboration with speakers from a number of voluntary, community and public sector organisations. Here Professor Steve Field, Chair of the NHS Future Forum, gives his thoughts on how race equality has progressed in 2011, and his hopes for 2012.

Professor Steve Field suggests that the new Equality Delivery System adopted by all NHS organisations is going to be a key tool for progressing race equality in the NHS in 2012. He also suggests that the NHS Future Forum's emphasis on the role of the NHS Constitution will be met with a positive response from Government and will play an important in progressing race equality and delivering and NHS of which we can be proud.

The Goodbye to 2011 videos were published on the Foundation's Youtube channel throughout the festive season in the run up to New Year 2011-12. Your thoughts and feedback on the videos, and your own hopes for 2012, are much appreciated.
